Living life to the Fullest

We were put here on earth to do something special with our lives and we should never take that for granted. People that do not do everything to the best of their abilities aren’t only cheating themselves but also the others around them.

One of the first reasons everyone should live their lives to the fullest is because if you don’t, you will miss out on so many great opportunities. If you don’t do the best you can in everything, then you’ll never know how far you could have gotten. Take sports for instance; if you don’t practice then you’ll never get any better. Yet if you put everything you have into that sport, you will become one of the best athletes on the field. You can apply that same determination in school, your job, your business, your marriage, pretty much anything you do in life. Not only will you succeed in life if you do your best, you will be happy and contented with yourself.

Moreover, we are all aware that many people find themselves lost in this world. We all try to find our purpose in life by focusing on our talents and interests. We all, somehow, feel pressured to find out what we are meant to be doing during the many decades of our existence. This usually occurs before we graduate from high school when we decide which course we want to take up. We are told to choose a course that fits our personality or hobbies so that we can find passion in the subjects that we take to make our college years more interesting.

Some of us are lucky enough to have parents who support our decisions when it comes to what we want to do with our lives. Others, however, are tied down by their parents’ preferences that life can seem pointless to a certain extent.

I find happiness in the things I do because I choose to do them. Having the freedom to decide which activities you want to do make life a little more fun. When there is passion, there is commitment; when there is commitment, there is an outcome. I believe that my passion in theatre and/or Broadcast Communication will take me to a place that I want to be in the future. I hope that one day, all my dedication to performing arts will pay off.  I may not be sure about where I am headed but doing what I love makes the journey to the future worthwhile.

Someone once said to “love what you do so you will never have to work a day in your life”. That is what I intend to do. I intend to continue doing what I love so life does not have to be so dull and forced. I intend to live my life to the fullest by being happy and by doing things that I am interested in. I do not believe in being forced. I do not believe in being told to do something that you do not want to do. I believe in love for what we do and pursuing our passion. I do not believe in work; instead, I believe in steps to fulfilling our dreams. I am no expert when it comes to life. No one is, but I believe that we have the right to choose and our choices can make a difference.
