How To Respond to a Bad Day

Have you ever feel like punching someone on the face or maybe want to scream so loud? We all experience this event in our life; if you don’t then, you’re not human. When we experience it we usually can’t think straight or do things we regret afterward.  It pisses the hell out of us that sometimes we blame others for it. We suffer from psychological imbalance that leads to frustration, annoyance, and stress.

 Here are some tips on how you should respond if this event occurs:

 Inhale, Exhale

Stop, take a deep breath then exhale. Your body will respond to it. Doing this simple exercise can calm your nervous system and overworked mind.  You need to relax and think it through. Ask yourself the questions ‘Why is this happening?’ and ‘What might be the problem?’ Breathing will help you to analyze things that need to be considered and done. To begin, sit still somewhere comfortable. Close your eyes and begin breathing through your nose. Then, inhale for 2 seconds, exhale gently and keep your breathing even and smooth.  The most important thing is that the exhale is longer than the inhale, not the absolute length of the breath. Set a timer and breathe this way for at least five minutes, you’ll see a difference in your mood.

Acceptance

Instead of dwelling on the situation, why don’t you find a way to turn it around? Acceptance can replace your negative thoughts with a positive one. It can help you too mentally. When this kind of thing happens to you, move to a place where you can find yourself in peace and accept as quickly as you can. That doesn’t mean you have to like it. It means that you acknowledge what’s really happening.  Well, bad day is just a bad event, there is nothing you could do about it so just face it.

 Use your mind

Are you strong enough to accept the facts? Your mind is your greatest weapon. They said dilemma is all in your mind; use it to cast it away. After you take a deep breath and gain full control of your mind, you should analyze. There are many questions you need to ask yourself. What seems to be the problem? What may have caused it? What are the things to be done in order to make it right? You need a better point of view; a plan to overcome the situation. In addition, you can rewire your brain with positivity and happiness. Effect feel free to use your mind, after all, it’s free.

 Just do it

As we all know, there’s always an answer to every question. Now that you have accepted and analyzed it, you may want to apply it. There are no printouts if you don’t have a printer, right? As for yourself you need an action if you want to solve your problem. Don’t fix it by just analyzing it, you’re just making your head hurt. Stand up, do a power pose, and just do it. Prepare yourself, how you deal with those obstacles defines your determination and critical thinking in solving problems. Don’t worry about everything that’s holding you back from accomplishing it. Instead, focus on the positive things that will happen once you get it done. If you can’t solve it by yourself, it’s not wrong to call a friend for help.
