Who would not know the man behind Mork and Mindy to the Crazy Ones, from Patch Adams to Mrs Doubtfire, from Aladdin to Happy Feet, from Good Morning Vietnam to Dead Poet Society, from the Awakening to Good Will Hunting, from Popeye to Hook, from What Dreams May Come to Man of the Year, from Insomnia to One Hour Photo, Robin William has proven to be one of the most versatile and enduring actors of all time. Yet it was not enough. Goodbye to one of the best, if not THE GREATEST actor, that graced the silver screen. Your movies have all given something to ponder about.

Robin Williams’ death left everyone blank and shocked. He was pronounced dead at 12:02pm, Monday (US time). He had been battling severe depression lately.

Williams married graphic designer Susan Schneider in Napa Valley, California, ceremony in October 2011. Schneider sent a written statement to CNN through the representative.

“This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken.
“On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”

The authorities are not investigating if his death has something to do with committing suicide.

“At this time, the Sheriff’s Office Coroner Division suspects the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia, but a comprehensive investigation must be completed before a final determination is made,” the Marin County Coroner said in a statement. “A forensic examination is currently scheduled for August 12, 2014 with subsequent toxicology testing to be conducted.”
